Daniel K. Altscher Investment Analyst

Mr. Altscher is responsible for assisting in the analysis and valuation of investment opportunities for Hovde Capital Advisors.

Prior to joining Hovde Capital, Mr. Altscher was a Corporate Banking analyst at Citigroup.   While there, he focused on credit risk and financial analysis of the bank's corporate loan portfolio, along with completing new credit approval transactions for investment grade and high-yield companies.   He also has sell-side experience as an Equity Research summer analyst at Merrill Lynch.    

Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Altscher graduated cum laude from New York University's Stern School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business, with a minor in History and a certificate in Entertainment, Media, and Technology.  He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.  Mr. Altscher lives in Bethesda, Maryland.
