Mr. Beimler is responsible for Hovde Capital Advisors' on-site due diligence efforts. In addition, Mr. Beimler is active with Hovde Acquisition, an affiliated merchant bank. A recognized expert with regard to credit risk, Mr. Beimler provides invaluable insight in the due diligence process.
Prior to joining the Hovde organization in 1997, Mr. Beimler served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for Fleet Bank of New York, a $10 billion commercial bank, and Riggs National Corporation, a $6 billion commercial bank in Washington, D.C. Mr. Beimler has been instrumental in several bank and thrift turnarounds and is skilled in strategic planning, asset/liability management, consolidation and merger planning and execution, credit approval, and portfolio management. In addition, Mr. Beimler has provided litigation support and consulting for real estate bankruptcies, international banking failures, and insurance company fraud. Mr. Beimler has extensive experience in training course development and delivery, having served as an adjunct college lecturer, banking school presenter, and industry conference speaker.
Mr. Beimler has served numerous community organizations in leadership positions including the United Way, the Boy Scouts of America, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Rochester Museum and Science Center.
Mr. Beimler received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and his graduate degree in Banking from the Stonier School of Banking at Rutgers University. He is married and has a daughter.
