Jason M. Mackey Trader

Mr. Mackey is responsible for the trading and analysis of investment opportunities for Hovde Capital Advisors.

Prior to joining Hovde Capital, Mr. Mackey was a Senior Equity Trader at Rydex Investments in Rockville, Maryland. In this position, Mr. Mackey handled equity trades for their Index, Sector, Alternative Funds and ETF’s. While at Rydex Investments, Mr. Mackey also served as a backup to the derivatives trader.

Mr. Mackey received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ithaca College. He holds series 3, 7, 24, 55 and 63 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.   He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and son.
