Mr. Kashdin is responsible for the oversight of Hovde Capital
Advisors’s daily accounting functions, calculation
of the monthly net asset values, and preparation of the
financial statements for the FIP funds. Mr. Kashdin is also
responsible for maintaining the firm’s internal control
structure as it relates to safeguarding and reconciliation
of the firm’s assets.
Prior to joining the Hovde organization in 2000, Mr. Kashdin
was a manager for the public accounting firm Anchin, Block,
and Anchin LLP in New York City, where he was responsible
for auditing and tax preparation for a wide range of hedge
fund clientele.
Mr. Kashdin received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting
from the University of Delaware. He is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater
Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Kashdin actively participates in programs of World
Vision, a humanitarian organization dedicated to helping
poor and oppressed communities worldwide.
