Mr. Angelakos is responsible for producing monthly economic overviews for Hovde Capital Advisors, other research pieces on financial industry related topics and assisting analysts with investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Hovde Capital, Mr. Angelakos was an analyst in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s Office of Economic Analysis where he analyzed the latest financial market and economic trends. Prior to this, Mr. Angelakos was with The NASDAQ Stock Market where he held positions with MarketWatch, Financial Products and Worldwide Marketing.
Mr. Angelakos received his Masters in Business Administration from The George Washington University with a concentration in International Business and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland. He is married and lives in Northern Virginia.
