Mr. Troy is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Hovde Financial, Mr. Troy was with a “Big 4” accounting firm where he provided assurance services to clients in a broad array of industries. Mr. Troy was involved with both financial accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley attestation services and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
A native of San Diego, California, Mr. Troy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting.
