Mr. Forehand is an Associate for Hovde Private Equity Advisors LLC.
Prior to joining Hovde Private Equity Advisors in 2006, Mr. Forehand worked as a junior investment analyst at Hovde Capital Advisors, a long/short equity hedge fund with approximately $1 billion in assets under management. In this capacity, Mr. Forehand was responsible for assisting in the analysis and valuation of investment opportunities in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Hovde, Mr. Forehand served as the director of an economic study for the Virginia Senate. Mr. Forehand also interned as an equity analyst at the asset management firm Farr, Miller, & Washington, LLC where he helped analyze large cap value stocks for the firm’s investment portfolio.
Mr. Forehand received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the McIntire Business Institute. Mr. Forehand is a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute.
